Graphic Design / Marketing Internship 

The Job

This internship will provide you with a variety of skills and opportunities.  This program is designed to provide students with experience and training in typical day-to-day activities as it pertains to the industry market.  Interns will assist with real projects for real clients and will have the ability to impact real outcomes.  Our internships are paid, full-time and in person.

What You Will Do

• Create new collateral materials and templates based on brand guide.
• Develop new graphic design ideas, as needed.
• Video editing – edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos, ensuring smooth transitions and a cohesive narrative.
• Trim, cut and manipulate video content.
• Researching technological interfacing and its’ intersection while designing environments.
• Assist with all social media platforms.
• Assist with website redesign.

Position Requirements

• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Experience working with brand and style guides.
• Requires strong layout/editorial and typographic skills that will work in both print and digital applications.
• Desire to understand designing for built environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Qualified candidates must demonstrate unmatched skills in graphic design, the ability to multi-task and a passion for quality, creative work.
• Portfolio images that demonstrate strong conceptual/design skills, trend-focused color palettes, excellent aesthetic judgment, and use of type.
• Portfolio images that demonstrate strong illustration skills with a variety of techniques, styles, subject matter, application.
• Portfolio images demonstrate the ability to apply design and illustration to multiple formats and products.
• Current college student pursuing a degree in visual communication / graphic design, communication design, industrial design with an emphasis in graphic design, or another related field.

• Ability to work effectively with others and meet deadlines and goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented and self-starter.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and can convey information to both technical and general audiences.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
